Stated in 2008 with just 80 students, Gopalswamy PU College has grown fabulously down the years and today, the strength is 1320. The college offers different combinations in Science and Commerce streams. In science stream, we have PCMB, PCMCs and PCME. In commerce stream. We have EBAC, EBABm, and EBAS. In 2012, to eater to the needs of highly talented students, the visionary management introduced ‘Sankalpa’ the integrated coaching center. Here students are trained to quickly competitive exams like NEET, IIT-JEE, CET, KVPY, etc., Our results have been encouraging. The College has highly talented and resourceful team of teaching staff, 95 in number.

GopalaswamyShishuvihara Independent PU College has consistently upheld its commitment to ensure Academic excellence since its inception in 2008. Through unique academic programs, innovative teaching methodologies and dedicated faculty the college has nurtured scores of students, enabling them to excel in board as well as competitive examinations.
2008-2013: Foundation and Growth
During this period, the college focused on building a strong academic foundation and fostering a culture of learning.
Students consistently performed well in state board examinations, with an average pass percentage of 90%. In 2010, 6 out of 67 students secured distinction. In 2012, 31 distinctions and in 2013 44 distinctions were secured upholding the excellence.
Emphasis was placed on comprehensive development through extracurricular activities and leadership programs.
2014-2018: Expansion and Recognition
The college witnessed a period of expansion, with the introduction of new courses and upgraded infrastructure. Results in state board examinations continued to be impressive, with a pass percentage consistently above 95%. Notable achievements included students’ success in competitive entrance exams for prestigious universities and institutions.
Between 2014 and 2018, 292 of our students secured distinction. More than hundred students got 90 and above percentage which is a remarkable achievement from our institution.
The college received recognition for its innovative teaching practices and student-centric approach.
2019-2023: Innovation and Excellence
In response to changing educational paradigms, the college embraced technology-enhanced learning and experiential education.
Results in board examinations maintained a stellar record, with a pass percentage consistently exceeding 95%.
A significant number of students secured admissions to top-tier universities in the state and the country.
Between 2019 and 2023, students have performed exceptionally well in academic exams as well as in other competitive exams such as, CET, NEET, IIT-JEE and KVPY. Over 912 students have secured distinction in these four years which is a groundbreaking achievement. All credits to the dedicated faculty and the hardworking beloved students.
